This memoir recounts scores of fascinating and remarkable stories covering over 58 years about the author and his families' lives. It begins with a mind-blowing mistake made by a then secret crime syndicate, which later turns out to be the Mafia that profoundly affects the newly married couple in a way that changes their lives forever. When they finally reach Queen Creek they discover that they wound up right in the middle of some very disturbing rampant crime. Now after the all the criminals are gone and after living 28 years in Queen Creek they are thoroughly enjoying their spectacular mountain views every day which by the way is why they came here in the first place.

Author Biography

At the age of seventeen the author was promoted to manager of a gas station/grocery store. Alden joined the Marine Corps at the age of eighteen and served six years in the Marine Corps Ready Reserve. He went to work as a salesman for a large soft drink bottling company at the age of twenty and married his present wife at that time. Within 6 years he worked is way up to sales manager/co-plant manager in the bottling company. The author was then transferred to a much larger bottling company and was promoted to Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at the age of twenty-six. Alden was a part of a international sales convention that was held in San Francisco during this time. Seeking new challenges at the age of 32, he and his wife and their four children moved on to own and operate a national child day care center and they both got their pictures in Fortune magazine and on the cover of another magazine. He joined an electronics manufacturing company and made one sale of integrated circuits that was worth over $800,000 to a company in Spain. Over time he received a Honorable Discharge from the USMC with a rank of E-4 non-commissioned officer and was a Cub Scout Leader, Webelos Leader and Boy Scout Leader. Alden was the president and CEO of an international marketing Company, President & Founder of a civic Non-profit corporation, a president of a New Construction Cleaning Corporation & Coach of a "winning & fun times" Pop Warner football Team. He has served on the board of directors of: A Junior Chamber of Commerce Organization, a Little League Association & Team Manager, an Arabian Horse Association & a Arizona State environmental Corporation. He has sat on a Planning & zoning county citizens advisory council, an county Air Quality citizens advisory council, a regional park stakeholders advisory council, and a Towns regional citizens advisory council. His first published book was a business guide; New Construction Interior Cleaning Service by Entrepreneur Magazine. That sold for $69.00 in 1989. He and his wife now have the time to reflect on all these wonderful enterprises and have found out that while writing We Live In Queen Creek Arizona, she did not know all the things I had done over the years nor did my children. This has in turn led me to understand some things that I did not know about what my children have done over time either. I guess we were all too busy to fully communicate with each other in those early years.
