The visionary imagery was stimulated by his earlier Jungian studies dealing with dreams, active imagination meditations, and later by visionary plant medicines, all of which took him into the extraordinary depths of my psyche to experience archetypal symbolism as part of his individuation process and healing. A personal commentary follows each art piece; however, the author/artist invites the viewer to find meaning in the images that reflects their own psyche. The book reflects his personal struggles with the forces of darkness and light, woundedness and radiance, despair and hope, as well as his transpersonal connection to the natural world.
