Accordingly, between 2009 and 2012, he attempted suicide three separate times. As in his others, Unraveled is from the pages of the author's journals, in which he confided many secrets and truths, from junior high school into his adult life. Between its covers, he divulges a life of three separate people he simultaneously lived-each one protecting the other's truths and secrets while two of them hid the third: the monster under his flesh molded by his father in his own image due to many violations exacted on him. Three virtual personages maneuvering through abuse, violence, alcoholism, confusion, uncertainty, love and loss, desire and lust, sexual arrangements for money, life and death, and mental illness. This is the author's last book, birthed from those journals.
