Description

by Virchand R. Gandhi (Author)

The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ is a book written by Virchand R. Gandhi, a Jain scholar and leader from India. The book explores the life of Jesus Christ from a different perspective than that of the Bible. Gandhi's research and analysis of various ancient texts, including the Apocrypha, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Nag Hammadi Library, provide a unique insight into the life of Jesus and his teachings. The book delves into the years of Jesus' life that are not mentioned in the Bible, including his travels to India and Tibet during his teenage years. Gandhi also explores the influence of Eastern religions on Jesus' teachings and how they may have influenced his message of love and compassion. The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ challenges traditional Christian beliefs and offers a new perspective on the life of Jesus. It is a thought-provoking read that encourages readers to question their beliefs and consider alternative interpretations of historical events.1907. From an ancient manuscript recently discovered in a Buddhist Monastery in Tibet by Nicholas Notovitch. Translated from the French, Gandhi has abridged parts of the original work by Notovitch, omitting nothing that is interesting and added to the original work many things the original author was unable to do. Gandhi has added illustrations and footnotes, pointing out facts of incorrect notions. The summary at the end of the work is verbatim, but has the addition of several footnotes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
