Author Biography

Conrado Xalabarder (Barcelona, Spain, 1964), is a renowned specialist in the field of film music. creator of www.mundobso.com, world's largest website of film music comments, and film music critic in Fotogramas (Spain's most-read film magazine). He also writes about film music for newspapers, magazines, etc. Teacher of Film Music at the Universities Pompeu Fabra and Vic (both in Barcelona, Spain), he has invited to participate in numerous conferences, labs, seminars, etc. in other Universities, Conservatoires of Music, Film Schools, through Spain, as well as in Mexico. Author of two books of Film Music: Enciclopedia de las Bandas Sonoras (Ediciones B), Música de Cine: Una ilusión óptica (LibrosEnRed). He has also co-authored several collective books. Member of the Organizational Commitee of the International Film Music Festival in Ubeda, now the International Film Music Festival of Cordoba.
