Originally written in Latin and French, the manuscript was first translated by famed occultist S.L. MacGregor Mathers in the late 1890s. The source text is preserved in the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal in Paris and is regarded as a significant contribution to the Western magical tradition.
This edition is the only modern reproduction featuring fully restored and enhanced illustrations in full colour.
