This would eventually lead to his expulsion from the band and his untimely death 3 weeks later. Brian himself knew that he wouldn't live very long, and it was his reckless obsession with music that catapulted him to the height of success with the Rolling Stones and to the bottomless pit of self- destruction that ultimately decided his fate.
