Author Biography

Peter Rogers MD started out as one of the worst students at Stanford and went on to become one of the best, winning the Student Athlete of the Year Award with straight A's in pre med classes. He went on to U. Illinois medical school with 99% boards score and then Northwestern with another 99% boards score and then on to Harvard. He has studied and experimented with learning and thinking methods for 30 years and puts all this information into this book for you. The key concept is to train a student and or thinker as one trains an athlete, to develop the skills of learning and thinking. The most powerful academic techniques are explained in detail including "walk and talk with self test," which mimics the way prehistoric humans learned while foraging. While walking, they talked about concrete things in context that were relevant to survival.
