He works on film history, non-fiction cinema, Jewish Italian culture, and Italian intellectual history. He co-edited \u003ci\u003eImmagini di piombo: Cinema, storia e terrorismi in Europa\u003c\/i\u003e (2014) and has published for, among others, \u003ci\u003eSenses of Cinema\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eThe Italianist: Film Issue\u003c\/i\u003e, and\u003ci\u003e Cinema e storia\u003c\/i\u003e.
