This a memoir of Alston "Mac" Barrow's three years traveling the world in the 1960s, including his time in Vietnam, a small piece of his life-less than 5 percent-before Mac was even married. It was written at the age of eighty-four.
It is divided into four parts: Mac's travels including a year in Vietnam, his background of Navy service, some tales about his youth, and reflections on post-bellum life written by a Barrow relative.
