By recognizing Africa as a central subject across disciplines, we can better understand its foundations and appreciate the unique ways in which the African intellectual legacy intersects with our world. We believe that to understand history, philosophy, art history, archaeology, anthropology, visual culture, and literature from both the recent and distant past, it is essential to study them in relation to Africa. As a platform, the journal will evaluate African contributions and analyze the perspectives of African knowledge on contemporary issues.
