Die International Village Show ist eine umfassende Werkschau und Monografie der internationalen Künstlerinnengruppe Myvillages, die von Wapke Feenstra (Rotterdam), Kathrin Böhm (London) und Antje Schiffers (Berlin) gegründet wurde. Fokus ihrer Auseinandersetzung sind der ländliche Raum als zeitgenössischer kultureller Raum sowie historische und gegenwärtige Stadt-Land-Beziehungen. Selbst auf dem Lande aufgewachsen, arbeiten die Künstlerinnen seit 2003 in ländlichen Gegenden in und au erhalb Europas an Ausstellungen, Workshops und Kooperationen, in denen lokale Produktion und Kultur noch eine andere Bedeutung erfahren kann, als es beispielsweise in Städten der Fall ist. Die Projekte bestehen oft langfristig, sie wirken in vorhandene Prozesse ein und erzeugen Aufmerksamkeit, Umdenken und Handeln.
Leitfaden für das Buch ist Myvillages zweiährige Einzelausstellung "International Village Show" in der Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig (2015-16). Im eigens umgebauten Gartenhaus zeigt die Ausstellung einen umfassenden Überblick der abwechslungsreichen Arbeit weltweit.
