In my book I share with you what it was like for a young man to grow up In the City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) having experience my mother go to prison for murder and being forced into a life on the streets only to have those very streets become my family and protection. While writing I often found myself crying or smiling at the fact of being able to even share my experiences with you. I also made sure I kept it one hundred as they say in the hoods today and spoke to you as If I was speaking to my mother. We (Masons) use that term in masonry to outline how our conversations should be with each other. I know for a fact the only way you will benefit from what I write is to be candid. While reading you will find we share pains and have stories that are very much alike.
