Author Biography
Dr. Cheryl Fisher is a licensed clinical professional counselor in private practice with over 25 years of working with children and families in the areas of grief and loss, trauma, domestic violence, and life transitions. She is a Certified Trauma Specialist and trained in Jungian play therapy. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Fisher is the director of an online MA in Clinical Counseling program with Alliant International University where she teaches counselors-in-training. Her research interests include the role of spirituality, nature and mindfulness in overall wellness.
