There were so many stories to tell about Michael's short life and two special granddaughters who needed to get to know their Uncle Michael. So one day I started writing, which then led me to interviewing with family and friends, and before I knew it I was adding pictures. It was then I decided it needed to be read by many more than family. It's a happy story, not another sad one about 9/11. My son Michael was extremely loving and funny and I tried to capture who he was in this book, hopefully so that anyone who reads it will walk away feeling as if they knew him too.
