Founded in 2006 by Ed Gomez and Luis G. Hernandez, the MexiCali Biennial celebrates aesthetic production on both sides of (and across) the California-Mexico border. In celebration of the organization's 20th year, Art, Actions, Exchanges since 2006 offers a compelling visual and intellectual journey through the evolving conversations on identity, migration, resistance and creative activism.
