In my painting, despite our\u003cbr\u003e totally different styles and techniques, Margot would\u003cbr\u003e suggest subtle touches of colour and shading that brought\u003cbr\u003e added dimension and perspective to mountains, trees and\u003cbr\u003e figures.\u003cbr\u003e Margot offered encouragement and praise but was not\u003cbr\u003e afraid to admonish when needed. With Margot, I slowly\u003cbr\u003e learned to be in the now, and to accept people who thought\u003cbr\u003e and believed differently than I. She taught me to see other\u003cbr\u003e points-of-view and to treasure people as they are.\u003cbr\u003e Her beliefs were quite different from my own, yet she\u003cbr\u003e supported mine to the point of accompanying me to church\u003cbr\u003e on numerous occasions.
