These institutions are often like the black ops of hospitals - they are there, but they are hardly spoken about or given the attention they deserve. And this is in a normal situation. What do you think would happen when the scales tip over into the paranormal? Strangely enough, the idea of a haunted asylum seems to fire up our imagination; where we would not have cared to spend too much time in a normal psych ward, an abandoned and perhaps haunted psych ward is far too good an opportunity to pass up. I have to warn you though, for all that these places may seem like a brilliant Halloween set up - they are truly not...
