A series of fantastical lessons and funny adventures led the way to my self-declaration of Farm Queen. Animal wifery is not for the faint of heart! To become a lady farmer, I underwent a metamorphosis, losing 100 lbs, a husband, my first farm, often my dignity and a favourite cow!
But gaining my independence, self-confidence, a huge variety of life skills, and a ferocious love for farming was worth the loss, the lessons and heartache. I now have the courage to live life on my terms, on my very own farm.
