Ben's own homes, an apartment in London and a farmhouse in West Dorset, are also included. These homes vary greatly in architecture, size, shape, and age, but they all have in common the English style--richly-layered rooms that deftly intertwine color and pattern and a mix of old and new furniture to create timeless and comfortable places to live.Author Biography
Ben Pentreath is a leading figure in the London design world and beyond, with 197k followers on Instagram. One of the foremost designers of new traditional buildings and country houses in the UK, he combines a busy architectural practice with an interior design studio, a popular blog (pentreath-hall.com/inspiration), and an interiors store, Pentreath & Hall. Ben is also the author of the best-selling English Decoration (also Ryland Peters & Small). He lives with his husband Charlie McCormick in Dorset and London.
