The standoff made international news, creating the rally cry "No, Hell NO " that brought thousands of Americans from across the country to the Bundy Ranch in April 2014.
Additionally, Cliven gives his personal account of 'life lost', and the continued costs that the "Bundy 19" endure as they continue to sacrifice their livelihoods and freedom.
The author describes the intense hardships the Bundy 19 (18 others charged with federal crimes along with Cliven) experience from the oppression and danger that continues in the government's private contract prison in which they are held. From here, Cliven shares his personal inner fears and hopes for the future.
It's a burden that weighs heavily upon Cliven's heart.
