She is the author of \u003cem\u003eThe Handbook of Community Safety, Gender, and Violence Prevention\u003c\/em\u003e (Earthscan, 2008) and has authored and contributed to several leading texts on safe cities.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCrystal Legacy\u003c\/strong\u003e is a Research Associate at the City Futures Research Centre at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Crystal completed her PhD in urban planning from the University of Melbourne in 2010.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCaroline Andrew\u003c\/strong\u003e is the Director of the Centre on Governance, University of Ottawa, and is currently Chair of the Board of Women in Cities International.
