The author, Owen Bruhn, is a Teaching Member of Meditation Aust., Accredited SMT Teacher 2017-2024 and has trained to practitioner level or higher in several meditative touch therapy systems. For details see his website. Bruhn learnt from Ainslie Meares over the course of 1984. After an injury in 2011, he learnt to teach Stillness Meditation and founded what is now called Stillness Meditation Touch Therapy in 2015.
