Although Ranen has written this story in first person, It is also told from the perspective of the courageous young "Kenya Cowgirl" who became his crew and lover, all told through her journal entries from that voyage. Author Biography

Kenny Ranen, an old school sailor/traveler, spent twenty-eight years living and sailing on a couple of sailing boats, crossing oceans to the tune of 10,000 miles or more every year. With the Millenium, Ranen left the sea for his house in the Idaho Rocky Mountains.
